BSPB Spring meeting 2012: April 2-3rd Strathclyde University

This year we are organising a special programme to honour the contributions of two outstanding protozoologists, Keith Vickerman and John Darbyshire.

This meeting is also unusual in that we will be running immediately prior to the Spring BSP meeting - 50 years of Parasitology in the UK (3-5th April) at the same venue allowing opportunity to attend both meetings.

Registration is now open for the BSPB Spring Meeting , to held at the University of Strathclyde from the 1st – 3rd of April. Please complete the registration form, noting that accommodation should be booked separately through the link provided. Abstracts should be submitted to Fiona Henriquez (address on registration form) by the 15th March, we would welcome offered papers in any area including “Ultrastructure and Phylogeny”, “Soil Protistology” and “Protist Pathogens with Environmental Transmission Routes”. Posters are also welcomed, particularly from student members who can apply for a bursary to contribute to conference costs. Applicants for bursaries should contact Will Gaze (William.gaze@pcmda.ac.uk) or Humphrey Smith (apx191@coventry.ac.uk) as soon as possible as bursaries will be awarded on a first come first served basis.

Please see our Meetings page for more details.
